When fighting bosses in lower level dungeons, their health will usually drop so fast it won’t matter which abilities you use. Once you reach the higher levels, being able to maximize your DPS during boss fights becomes a lot more important. With the larger health pools of high level dungeon and heroic dungeon bosses, knowing what your cooldowns & procs are – and when to use your cooldowns – will make all the difference in a quick and easy boss kill.

If you play on a high population server and are not in a guild, you have probably received an unsolicited guild invite from someone at one point. While this is an easy way to get into a guild with many guild perks, perhaps you’re not ready to join a guild yet, or simply don’t want to be in a guild. If that’s the case, the good news is that Blizzard has conveniently provided an option for you to block random guild invites.

After the Cataclysm, the Barrens of Kalimdor were ripped apart and divided into two new regions – the Northern Barrens, and the Southern Barrens. Or even if you’re in a raiding guild, PUGs can provide a place for you to raid when you’re not involved in a guild raid. If you’re looking to join a PUG raid in WoW, there are a few things you need to keep in mind.

Having a bank alt is a great way to deal with the problem of limited bank storage, especially if you’ve got an army of alts. With your own private guild, you’ll have access to six entire guild tabs (seven or eight if you level the guild up) that can be used to store all of your items – in addition to your bank alt’s own bank tabs. Here’s how to create a bank alt, start your own guild, and get up and running.

Once your Blood Elf reaches level 20, you can learn the journeyman riding skill and get your Hawkstrider mount right outside of Silvermoon City. After exiting Silvermoon City through the south exit, head east down the road until you see a building on the left side. It will say Thuron’s Livery on your map. Inside the building you can learn the riding skill, and the vendor outside the building will sell you a mount. While you can get riding training from any riding trainer, your land mounts can only be purchased from Thuron’s Livery until you reach exalted reputation status with another Horde city faction.
Gem sockets, and item enhancements such as enchants, leg armor, spellthread, and shoulder/helm glyphs provide a way to enhance your character without having to upgrade your gear. At the level cap, having your gear fully gemmed and enchanted can provide that last bit of DPS/healing/damage mitigation that you need to complete a heroic dungeon or raid. Once you reach the level cap and start running heroic dungeons, the question is not “should I enchant or gem this item” but “how much should I spend on gems/enchants for this item?”
